My Mother taught me about this view. I am sure everyone has seen it at one time or another. My Mother always said this view is---" God pouring down His blessings". I like to think that is true.

New question of the day-----

IF YOU COULD ENACT ONE LAW IN YOUR COUNTRY THAT DOES NOT CURRENTLY EXIST, WHAT WOULD IT BE?????

That anyone buying a thong, would have to go thru a screening process-( got that from Larry-the cable guy)

I would make it a felony offense for someone while driving on the road, to also be talking on their cell phone. A lot of folks have trouble just concentrating on driving, much less being distracted by a phone call.
Or, driving in the left lane only, blocking faster traffic, making everyone try to get around them. Can you tell I travel alot with my job?? lol

This is what I do for a living. I test 911 cell tower calls. "Can you hear me now??? lol

This one turned out very strange. Cant really tell which way is up, or level. The sky is one angle, the right trees are another, and the left trees are another angle. Go figure this one?

Some cool looking wave clouds

I got this email from a great friend. I have always heard you have to be able to laugh at yourself, soooo here goes..... lol

A Little Humor:>>>

One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt.Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to me, "Whatsetting do I use on the washing machine?" "It depends," I replied. "What does it say on your shirt?" He yelled back, "Mississippi State." And they say blondes are dumb...

A couple is lying in bed. The man says, "I am going to make you the happiest woman in the world" The woman says, "I'll miss you"

"It's just too hot to wear clothes today," Jack says as he stepped outof the shower, "honey, what do you think the neighbors would think if I mowed the lawn like this?"....... "Probably that I married you for your money," she replied.

He said - Since I first laid eyes on you, I have wanted to make love toyou really badly. She said - Well, you succeeded.

He said, shall we try swapping positions tonight? She said - That's a good idea... you stand by the ironing board while I sit on the sofa and fart.

He said - What have you been doing with all the grocery money I gave you? She said - Turn sideways and look in the mirror.

Q: What do you call an intelligent, good looking, sensitive man? A: A rumor

A man and his wife, now in their 60's, were celebrating their 40thwedding anniversary. On their special day a good fairy came to them and saidthat because they had been such a devoted couple she would grant each ofthem a very special wish. The wife wished for a trip around the world with her husband. Whoosh!Immediately she had airline/cruise tickets in her hands. The man wished for a female companion 30 years younger..Whoosh...immediately he turned ninety!!! Gotta love that fairy!

AND THE BEST ONE YET... A WOMAN'S PERFECT BREAKFAST:
* She's sitting at the table with her gourmet coffee
* Her son is on the cover of the Wheaties box.
* Her daughter is on the cover of Business Week.
* Her boyfriend is on the cover of Playgirl.
* And her husband is on the back of the milk carton
A PRAYER....>>
Dear Lord,
I pray for Wisdom to understand my man; Love to forgive him; And Patience for his moods. Because, Lord, if I pray for Strength, I'll beat him to death.
AMEN

While driving to Christmas dinner at my Aunts house today, not 5 miles from there, I came across this accident. You can see the tire marks where a vehicle drove right over the edge of the hill. Once again, showing me just how lucky that I am today, that I was able to spend Christmas with part of my family. Must always remember to be thankful for what I have, and where ever I may be. It can always be lots worse.

The Spread at my Family's house today. We would have had a nice smoked turkey---however----cousin Jimmy didnt smoke it long enough, and it was still gobbling. Just kidding. But, as you can see---there wasnt any Christmas turkey this year,,, reminds me of the movie---"The Christmas story". It was sooo close, yet..... so far away. Nuked turkey leg just isnt the same, haha! I am very glad I dont live at my Aunts house, I would be as big as a BARN!

Meet Jim & Lucy. Two of the most important people in my Life. I can not say enough about this man, how he has helped me(and many others) change my life, helped guide and protect my path thru life, and I pray for this man and his family daily. Semper Fi, my brother !

The Question of the day--
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW, WHAT WOULD YOU ALTER???

I had to think about this one a very long time. Here is what I came up with.
I would give everyone on the planet Earth the gift of "Enough". If someone has the email, it would be better than my poor attempt to reproduce it, however will give it a shot.

I would give everyone Enough Love--Where no one would ever feel like they are ever alone again in this great big world. It would be so strong, they could wrap it around themselves like a blanket. With enough love, there would be no need for War, or the deaths, or sacrificies that it demands from us.

I would give Enough tenderness-- so that we would never think our day was so bad, that we couldnt see when someone else is really hurting inside, or to miss the opportunity to reach out a helping hand when someone needs it, or to reach out our hands when we are in need, and get over our selfish pride, or simply to give someone an encouraging word, or to make them smile once today.

I would give Enough time--- so that they could finish their school work, house work, work, art projects, honeydew lists, hug their children, hug their spouse, good book, conversations, or to be able to enjoy a pretty sunset/sunrise. Wouldnt give too much time, just enough because too much time on a persons hands will test the fortitued of the strongest of individuals, and then they become stagnant. When a person isnt growing, they are dying.

I would give Enough patience--- so that our lives wouldnt be controlled by our emotions running amuck, or road rage, or anger with other people/kids when the do something that we think is dumb,etc..., or when someones path isnt the one that we think they should take.

I would give Enough money---so that everyone could pay their bills, and lights would never get cut off, or no one would loose their house, or place to live, or just the basis staples of life as most have come take for granted.

I would give Enough loneliness-- so that we would have to seek out people like ourselves that were hurting, thus creating a tighter relationship with our fellowman.

I would give Enough food--- so no one had to go to bed today hungry. No children would die from starvation, no mother would have to rock a crying child to sleep because they are hungry, but just enough so we dont get complacient, or lazy.

I would give Enough toys - so that every child could have a favorite, not just the only one, or none at all.

I would give Enough---ice cream(blue belle), chocolate(any kind), ice cold milk, strawberry cheesecake, etc... think you can figure out the reason for this one!

I hope your day has Enough in it. What a glorious world this would be again, if everyone chose just one of these, most are free, and gave it priority in their lives???

Gentle breezes & a very MERRY CHRISTMAS

Off we go into the wide open sky. I am leaving for cumberland, North carolina to work this week. Hope to post from the road. Gentle breezes

And away they go! It was a successful launch and landing! wooohooo!

Eric, the tow trike pilot & tandem pilot fixing to take shawn up in the newly configured trike.

Wanna race?? just kidding. A tandem flight taking off at the same time as the new trike of Scotty's

This is a brand new designed powerless trike. Its for someone that likes to fly sitting down, or cant run on launch or landing. Still in the experimental stages at this point.

Isn't she a little beauty??!!! As my mates would say in Australia. G'day--chat from the road!

First trike designed with this type of gas tank configuration. It hold 5 gallons. So you can get some massive airtime with this one!

A friend of mine just bought him a new trike. I think he is happy about it, lol.

These two ladies, Doris and Nancy, once again did an outstanding job with all the decorations, and what a great Christmas dinner they put on. The Salmon was incredible, and the strawberry, oreo cookie cheesecake should have been illegal (probably is in some states!!) Kudos ladies. I know more people were involved, like Kim and Heidi, however I dont know who all there was. But, Doris is the one responsible for all the activities thru out the year, and does a fabulous job. Cant give her enough thanks. However, she does like my strawberry shortcakes.

My friend Rick sr., which is a Retired Marine , just had some major stuff done in the Hospital. It was really good to see him up and about and getting out to the parties. Semper Fi

My Friend Debra and stacy. They are great ballroom dancers. Arent they lovely???? I really like the white top that Debra had on.

What a great looking tree!
Okay, the new question of the day is----

IF YOU COULD BE BEST FRIENDS WITH ONE PERSON IN HISTORY, WHO WOULD IT BE????
Guess I would have to say, John Wayne. I figure that just being around him, would have made me a better person. Or maybe Moses, or Noah, or John Holmes, haha, just kidding.

Think this guys is either a redneck, or a real BIG bass fisherman, hehe

This is the biggest globe that I had ever seen.

"He's got the whole world, in his hands"

This shot reminded me of the movie "Jungle book" where the vultures were waiting on something to die, lol

More spanish moss

I was in Savannah, Georgia this week working. A friend of mine in OZ hasnt seen spanish moss before, so here is a couple of shots for them. G'day mates!

Thought this was a kewl picture from Webshots. All the comforts of home!!!!
Question for the day------
IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE YEAR, ALL EXPENSIVES PAID ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD---WHERE WOULD IT BE!
HAWAI-- so I could fly the volcanos, enjoy the beach and the sites. Your turn------

This was the tree with all the toys that was brought this evening. The occasion this evening was a Toys4Kids party, put on by the Sheriffs department and the hang glider pilots. Will have all of my party pics posted in the next day or two and another link for them on the right. Anne did a wonderful job hosting it. Was a gorgious house, and very nicely decorated. Its a shame that there are children during this time of the season that do not have enough food, or toys. However, if we keep chipping in, we may be able to solve that problem.

This is probably the prettiest Angel on a tree I have ever seen.

4 Lovely ladies at the party this evening.

Wayne is still having problems figuring out how to work his digital camera, lol.

Some Hang gliding art from Annes' house, who hosted the party tonight.

LeeAnne Morgan was the Headliner tonight at the Comedy Catch. This place has had some of the Greatest comedians that has ever come down the pike. For example, Jeff Foxworthy, Whoppi Goldberg, Pauli shore, Carrot Top, etc... 100s of them, before they made it bigtime. You may have seen this lovely lady on Nichelodian at night(i cant spell, I know) and other places. She really tells it like it is, and hits you really close to home. Which in my book, being able to identify with, and understand where they are coming from is what a truely successful comedian communicates with their audiences. Which is where she really shines. Truely a great artist, very professional, and just a great Christian lady. Hope she gets her trampoline this year, sorry ...... inside joke. Go and see her, you will understand.

Here's a link for the season-----http://www.ashland.edu/ecard

This is one funny lady. If she is EVER in your town, omg you gotta see her. Just remember the milk duds, lol. I'm not going to tell any of her jokes because it would get lost in the translation, however----She has kids, and is married, and is as southern as they come, and then some, So to say she has many avenues of her life in which to get her new and innovative material, would be an understatement.

Dave Miller performing on stage in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He opens for some big name comedians like Ron White, and LeeAnne Morgan, etc.... When he isnt performing on stage, he flys an Ultralight and tows us hang glider pilots to heights when it isnt a mountain launching day. He did a fantabulous job, and had everyone there rolling with laughter. Great Job Dave!!!!!!!!!! I am very sure, in the future you may be seeing him on tv with the likes of Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable guy, Ron White, and the whole Blue Collar comedy revue. I am not saying that he's a redneck, but he IS funny enough by himself to be a headliner, so watch for him !

Pretty glider, huh?!! Richard soaring above the ridge. Mount up with wings as eagles!

Scott getting ready to launch off into the afternoon air. The guys with him, ensure that his wings stay level during launch, and the guy behind him, ensures that his nose angle doesnt change, so he has a nice safe launch.

CLEAR--and off we go... into the.... lookout valley.

Scott soaring the ridge. He is also the paraglider pilot in the pics on the other posts.

It was kind of cold yesterday, but the wind was right so lots of folks got some air time.

You have to really be from the Deep south to rate one of these guys at your funeral !! Cant imagine where they would be taking you to?? I dont wanna go that far. Got these "redneck" images in an email, and thought they were such good shots, hahaha!
okay, question for the day----
WHAT WAS THE WORST TELEPHONE CALL YOU EVER RECIEVED?

Many years ago, I recieved a phone call from my Dad. Back in those days, my Dad never ever called me about anything. However, this time he did. My sister had died, and my mother was too upset to call me, so he had to. I had just recieved my orders to be shipped to Japan. Another 3 days, and I wouldnt have been able to go to the funeral. Always thankful for the timing of that call, however.
Your turn---

Ain't she the prettiest thing?????!!!!! Sooooo proud of her, oh wait, is it a him???? hahhaha.

Horseshoes anyone????

Terry Presley and Friend with his entry in the Parade.
Okay, now for the thought provoking question---

IF YOU WERE GIVEN ONE HOUR TO SPEND AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF MONEY IN ANY STORE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE????

Mine would be---- Baskin & Robbins or, keeping with the redneck theme, The Dollar General store, or the John Deere dealership. your turn, hehehe

This was the Rappin' Santa. Actually, he was listening to Christian contempary music, just thought it would make a great pic, he threw the rappin' bit in for free, lol.
