The moon tonight at midnight
I was up at 6am, and the moon was setting. It looked liked what they call a Blood moon

Click on the pics to see them bigger. I was impressed the camera picked up so much detail.

I shot these across the valley to the sand mountain. I widened the shot a big to include some of the lights on the hillside, to show I didn't saturate the moon with any color. I did sharpen it a little, but no color was added. It was spooky looking. It would have been great for Halloween !

Thanks to Matt & Robin for hosting the halloween party again this year. They're costumes were great also. Thanks to Don and Stacy for bringing the band from Birmingham again,,,they ROCKED the house ! Thanks also to Lisa & her husband, and daughter, Megan for the hard work they did on the meal. I heard it was fantabulous ! Thanks to all the volunteers that helped with the set up and break down & clean up !!!!
