The Women's Flying Festival was a great success, and there were a lot of people to thank for their help so they sent out the following email.

Wow, what a great Women’s Hang Gliding Festival!
The weather was great and so many women from all over the country registered for the event. This event could not have happened without the support from all LMFP employees and from all the following volunteers: Dale & John Stokes, Christina Holmes, Paula Mc Gown, Susan Davis, Judy Hildebrand, Linda Presley, Wendy Lesher, Nancy Gattone, Susan Tuescher, Claire Vassort, Leigh Sharidon, Denny & Nydia Pistol, Bryan Eberle, Judy Philips, Randy Cotton, Melody Cline, Debbie Tubbs, Angela Galbreath, Lucas Ridley, Roddy Henderson, Toni Collier, Rick Gattone Sr. and Mark Yahn for furnishing the bonfire wood.
A special thanks to Judy Hildebrand for donating her time and making the food on Thursday night, to Jen Richards who did an incredible job getting the word out and working with Gordon on the web site and to “kid” Dave Miller who truly entertained us on the open mic night Thursday. Who’d thought we had this much talent so close to home with the winners being the “Mongoettes”!
Your support, encouragement and assistance was above and beyond! A big…big thank you to all the donors who really came through and made the festival a financial success!
