This is my friend and brother Mason, Paul Wilson. He passed away on friday the 18th. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for TVA for many years. His wife's name is Carolyn, and had two sons. He was 60 years young, and had a real passion for life. I was very close to both of them. We worked together for a while for a photography company. He was a very good photographer also. I have lost too many friends and family members to cancer. We have come a long way with research, but not yet far enough. I took this picture the last time we able to spend some time together. The following pictures were taken a few months earlier.
The following passages is taken from the Masonic funeral rites.
Man that is born of a woman hath but a short time to live, and is full of misery. He cometh up, and is cut down like a flower; he fleeth as it were a shadow, and never continueth in one stay. In the midst of life we are in death. May we be true and faithful to each other, and may we live and die in love. May we profess what is good, and always act agreeably to our profession. My the Lord bless us and keep us! May the Lord be gracious unto us, and may all our good intentions be crowned with success.
Friend and brother, we bid thee a last, and long farewell. Thou art at rest from thy labors: may it be in peace!
