This is one of those days where to fly off the mountain wasnt really desirable. It was really crossing out of the North,northeast. There were some straight cycles, however they were very few and far between. Tomorrow is suppose to a Much better day. Everyone around here is stoked about the forecast. I towed up today, after pressure washing my house & deck, just to get some air time and it was very relaxing and just what I needed. That is the reason you dont see any gliders set up at launch. Plus, its Saturday----its party time in the LZ (landing zone). Can you believe that there wasnt a storm cloud within 3 states???? I cant, broke a long streak of bad weekend weather !
Doris does such a great job on saturday night cook-outs. Menu for the night----Grilled boneless chicken breast, baked potatoes, great salad, green beans, all the fixings, and some yummy desserts. Oh, plus a keg, and lots of Coke for us that choose not to drink. All that for $5 bucks. Cant get that in town anywhere. Tomorrow is going to be a great funn Fly day, so if you live in the area, and Ever wanted to see us fly-----come on out and enjoy the views. Some of us hope to get really high because the conditions should be Right!
